The Most Disgusting Things Ever
Okay, maybe that's an exaggeration - but not far from it. Only in Japan! Check out these gross ice cream flavors (up until now, the only weird ones I'd seen in Asian markets were avocado, tarot, red bean, and cheese and corn):

The raw horsemeat ice cream sounds especially disgusting. Interesting also were the ice creams made from non-foods (such as the silk and charcoal flavors).

I have the same question for these ice-cream flavor manufacturers as I do for the Harry Potter Jelly Beans:
Whose job is it to be the "taster" and go through all the various samples until they decree that "yes, this really does taste like raw horsemeat/vomit/dirt???"
Well, I guess it wasn't that hard with the horsemeat - it includes whole chunks of the stuff. No artificial flavors there. (And actually, they use sterilized dirt for the dirt jelly beans, so that wasn't so hard either - the vomit, though, that's a bit difficult...)
